Saskatchewan 03:38
Saskatchewan Saskatchewan I've been lost for far too long I've flown over oceans blue But I'm coming home to you I've been chasing fool's gold But money won't buy me my soul I've been living life so fast But it's time to come home Saskatchewan Saskatchewan I've been gone for far too long Life is easy someplace warm But I'm coming home to you Saskatchewan Saskatchewan I've been gone for far too long Life is easy someplace warm But I'm coming back to you I've been trying to carve my place Somewhere they don't know my face But I'm coming home to be alone Where I know what I'm worth And I've been wearing fancy clothes Talking fast but laughing slow But I don't care about what's new ‘Cause I'm coming home to you Saskatchewan Saskatchewan I've been gone for far too long Life is easy someplace warm But I am coming home to you Saskatchewan Saskatchewan I've been lost for far too long I won't tell you right from wrong But I am coming home

The door is closing The time is gone for us The winds are blowing At the end of it all who will you trust The lies you told me The very same ones you told yourself They left me wondering How you'll be with someone else But I can't love you anymore No I can't love you anymore I can't love you anymore I can’t help you darlin Until you want to help yourself The past is gone now Nothing done will ever change I hope you find how To free yourself from the shackles of pain The world can't change for you darling It never has and never will It's always the same voices calling To change the things they can't change in themselves But I don't love you anymore No I don't love you anymore I don't love you anymore I can't love you darlin Until you learn to love yourself I don't love you anymore I don't love you anymore I don't love you anymore I can’t love you darlin Until you learn to love yourself

Ida Belle 04:11
You’re the one Ida Belle Don’t let everybody get you down They may not think we’re right Though hard times come and go I’ll still love you this I know Walk with me Ida Belle It’s been so long since you’ve just stopped and smelled Forgot about your woes Just to sniff a blooming rose Ida Belle You’re the one Ida Belle I know you worry that I don’t know you well But just focus on tomorrow Forget about yesterday It’ll be a long hard road But I know you’ll be okay Ida Belle It’s been tough Ida Belle But don’t let everybody get you down They may not get your fight But don’t let them keep you up at night Ida Belle You been through a lot Ida Belle Cigarettes and whisky may quench your thirst for now But someday you’ll grow old And wish you had someone to hold Ida Belle You’re the one Ida Belle I know you worry that I don’t know you well But just focus on tomorrow Forget about yesterday It’ll be a long hard road But I hope we’ll be okay Ida Belle Love’s a road Ida Belle And you’ll travel through the valleys of pain and hell But once you’re through the drops You’ll gaze upon the mountaintops Ida Belle It’s been done Ida Belle I’ve moved along, and I think it’s just as well You tried to push me away Well now I’m gone and gone to stay Ida Belle You’re not the one Ida Belle I know you worry that I don’t know you well But I’ll focus on tomorrow While you dwell on yesterday Girl it’s been a long hard road But I know you’ll be okay Without me Ida Belle

Hold me tight Right up to the morning light Stroke my hair And tell me it's all alright I love you now Much more than I had knew how I wish that I Had never let you down It's been A long hard line We've grown apart But baby you've stayed on my mind Funny how Just looking back You seem to see the broken pathway through the black Now you're with her We're still apart Why was it my young self Was trusted with my heart Could have stayed Why did walk away Life alone Just isn't what they say Why won't I let Somebody hold me tight If you loved me Then maybe someday I might It's been A long hard road Girl I’ve Changed I'm not so special anymore I won't find love Not for a while Not til I greet my reflection with a smile Just not now This ain't goodbye I know you're hurt But I still see hope in your eyes Come back to me Is this what you call being free? Not a soul I know Not even me Run away Though I need you You don't want me What I wouldn't give To just have stayed

Midnight 03:39
While the stars Are talking o’er me And the moonlight Whispers of you That’s the time when I know that I loved you And that’s the time when I feel blue As the cold wind whistles Through the prairie And my moose skin Blocks off the chill I’m reminded Of the days I loved you I’m reminded Of the brokenhearted thrill Darlin I’m so glad I left you Yet I can’t help but think That I shoulda never gone When I’m lying All alone at midnight The lonesome cold Is begging me for you The stars Are talking o’er me And the moonlight Whispers of you Now I know I really truly loved you And now I know why I’m so blue Darlin Why was it that I left you Now I know That I shoulda never gone As I’m lying All alone at midnight The lonesome cold Is begging me for you The lonesome cold Is begging me for you The lonesome cold Is begging me for you

Time 04:37
Days ago I had gone To return what’s yours to you Though love Comes a wandering You can’t stop it As it walks on through Sometimes time leaves you blue Sometimes time doesn’t move along with you Carefree I was living life With you by my side I didn’t know quite what I had Until it had died Once you cried Tears of sorrow And now you laugh Tears of gay Though I’ve vanished From your memory You’ve done better Without me Sometimes time can help you see Sometimes time will set you free Carefree I was living life With you by my side I didn’t know quite what I had Until you had died The dusty road That lie ahead me Twists and turns But never ends Love ain’t something That can have an ending Just a memory Too big to forget Sometimes time is always empty Sometimes time is all that you get Sunny memories Over a cloud of regret Someday I’ll roll back the time To take all I can get

about

In his 7 track debut album release, Scott Pettigrew delivers unfiltered emotion and unedited performances.

With “Saskatchewan”, “I Don’t Love You Anymore”, “Growing Apart”, and “Midnight”, Scott uses smooth reverb guitar tones and warm vocals to deliver an intimate and unique sound.

With “Ida Belle” and “Time”, Scott offers two live-off-the-floor acoustic recordings that strip down the songs to their most bare and vulnerable levels.

“Alone” is it’s own animal; a live improvised blues song that must be heard to be described.
